The Importance of Being Earnest
Stitcher, Dresser

Where: Maples Reperatory Theatre

When: July 2024

About: The Importance Of Being Earnest was produced by Maples Repertory Theatre in 2024. I worked as a stitcher and a dresser on the show.  I was mostly responsible for repairs, jewelry, tags, buttons, fringes/linings, surging, and other basic tasks. I was also in charge of the upkeep of several wigs (initially styled by Denise Warner) throughout the show. My largest build for this show was Miss Prism's hat. This was my first time making a hat, and it turned out excellently. I also built a purse that Cecily Cardew used. Included are progress pictures of Miss Prism's Hat, designed by Jack Smith
