Treasure Island
Hair and Makeup Designer, First Hand

Where: Texas State University

When: February 2026

About: I was the Hair and Makeup Designer for Treasure Island in February of 2026. This opportunity was different than my last designs in that Texas State is now separating the Design, Supervisor, and Crew Roles. Previously, "Hair and Makeup Supervisor/Designer" was more or less the same thing, and either the supervisor would design, or the costume designer would. Musicals would have an additional crew. This upcoming semester, however, I essentially only did hair and makeup "pre-pro" work - Designing the looks, creating tracking paperwork, and styling wigs/facial hair before hand. Everything during the run of the show was be up to a separate supervisor.

Superheroes Unite!
Costume Designer

Where: Maples Repertory Theatre

When: August 2024

About: Superheroes Unite was produced by Maples Repertory Theatre in 2024. I worked as the costume designer on the show. The show was cast as a combination of professional actors from the Maples Repertory Theatre Company and local children. This show presented a particular challenge as it had to be entirely pulled from stock due to budgetary constraints.

Titania's Wig: I pulled this wig from MRT’s stock in poor condition but in an ideal style. I used steam, curlers, and hairspray to take the wig back to a presentable state for stage use.

The Wizard of Oz
Co-Hair & Makeup Designer, Stitcher, and Dresser

Where: Impact Arts Summerstock Austin

When: July/August 2023

About: I was a part of the costume crew for Impact Arts Summer Stock Austin 2023 season. In The Wizard of Oz, I was a stitcher, dresser, and HMU Artist along with Erin Boone.  For the Scarecrow, a heavy blush was applied to the cheeks and lips. A nose was painted on with an orange cream paint. Stitches were added to the nose and side of the face to help enhance the whole scarecrow vibe. For the lion, orange cream makeup was applied to the cheeks and outer eyes, while a yellow cream eyeshadow adorned the inner corner. The nose and whiskers were done with black cream paint. The witch was airbrushed green, with sharp black eyebrows, eyeshadow and lips. Plus, the iconic mole!  Professor Marvel recieved simple age makeup, while the flying monkeys were given messy black eye paint across the eyes and on the nose. The Ozians were giving various streaks and dots of green for their appearance in the merry old land of Oz. I was additionally responsible for the creation of the Jitterbug costumes from Teressa's design, specifically the helmet portion.

For this production we were nominated for best Hair and Makeup design at the B Iden Payne Awards.

SCREAM
Costume Designer, Blood Captain

Where: COSMO Theatre Troupe

When: 2022

About:  SCREAM: The unauthorized staged adaptation was a genderbent, staged version of the original 1996 movie. It was performed as a part COSMO Theatre Troupe’s 2022-2023 season. I was the Costumes/HMU Designer.
During this process, I made blood packs for Casey (Hailey Heitmeyer), Billy (Jessica Ruibal), and Stu (Emily Molina) so blood would explode when these characters were stabbed.
Steve Orth’s (Zach Blankenship) messed up face after he was beaten by Ghostface.
Costumes were relatively simple: Everyone wore a white t-shirt so that blood would show, as well as character indentifying accessories (IE Dewey’s handcuffs and cowboy hat)
